Toronto Language & Cognition Lab
In the Toronto Language and Cognition (TLC) Lab we use experimental methods to study how children learn language and how children and adults use language in communication. We are particularly interested in how the linguistic system and its acquisition interact with other aspects of cognition. Our lab is part of the Department of Linguistics at the University of Toronto and the Cognitive Science Program at University College.
In our lab we are excited to offer a range of online studies you and your child can participate in. These studies provide an exciting way for kids to take part in scientific exploration right from home. Your child's insights matter to us.
